More New Year thinking

These are some of my first words written on this somewhat dreary day. It’s been quite overcast today. But the big picture came to me the day before this new year. I was an hour early for choir practice, when I realized I forgot it was called off until the new year, so I had an hour to burn. I went strait to the river and looked out on it, and began to pray. I had found my quiet time with myself, and with God. I think this time is so important. I felt sun shine down on my skin, I felt an energy from the river around me, a calming effect. Just trying to surrender to a higher power. Just saying I hear you, thank you, and I’ll do whatever you want. I think we are all put here on this world for a purpose I’ve said this many times. I’m trying to let go of many things as always. I see signs all around me. I know the answers will lie in my quiet times and I have to make time for those. It’s all up to me.
